The growing demand for efficient personal finance management has led to innovations in digital expense monitoring systems. Managing income and expenditure manually often results in inaccuracies and lack of financial awareness. To address this issue, an attempt is made here to propose the design and implementation of a web-based Expense Tracker system. The project aims to help users efficiently record, categorize, and analyze their financial transactions. It includes core features such as user authentication, income and expense logging, category management, and detailed financial reporting. The system utilizes a secure database to store user data and supports intuitive visualization through charts and summaries, enabling users to monitor weekly and monthly spending trends. Technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend database integration are employed to ensure a responsive and secure user experience. The proposed framework will encourage users toward better budgeting habits, enhance financial literacy, and contribute to a more organized and sustainable personal finance management approach.
