Lean EngineeringAbstract
This study examines how lean engineering can revolutionize manufacturing operations by reducing waste and boosting overall productivity. Lean engineering, which has its roots in the Toyota Production System, optimizes engineering workflows by incorporating concepts like Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), and Just-In-Time (JIT) production. In addition, this study presents screencast videography as a digital tool for engineering process visualization and improvement. In order to demonstrate practical uses and advantages, case studies from the automotive, electronics, and aerospace sectors are examined. Future trends like AI integration, sustainability, and the application of lean engineering in non-traditional industries are forecasted in the paper's conclusion.
