Abstract

In the present paper, we introduce generalized fractional derivative operators and define Gauss hypergeometric function and Wright generalized hypergeometric function.
We derive explicit expressions for the Riemann–Liouville, and Saigo fractional-derivative operators acting on the product of the gauss hypergeometric function and wright generalized hypergeometric function. Special cases of our results recover known fractional-derivative formulas, uniting them within a single, cohesive framework.
