The Indian telecommunications sector has witnessed a dramatic transformation over the past decade, driven by rapid digitalization, technological advancements, and aggressive market competition. Among the key players in this space, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio have emerged as dominant forces, revolutionizing the way Indians access mobile connectivity and internet services. With increasing mobile penetration and data consumption, user expectations have shifted from basic connectivity to seamless high-speed internet, cost-effective data plans, and consistent network performance. As a result, network reliability and pricing strategy have become critical determinants of user satisfaction and brand loyalty.
This study seeks to explore and compare user preferences for Airtel and Jio, focusing specifically on their network performance (signal strength, internet speed, call quality) and pricing attributes (tariff affordability, data benefits, recharge convenience). By analyzing user perceptions and satisfaction levels, the study aims to highlight the competitive advantages and areas of improvement for each brand. In doing so, this research offers valuable insights for telecom companies, marketers, and policymakers aiming to enhance service quality and align their offerings with evolving consumer needs in a highly competitive market.
