Abstract

This research paper explores the rapidly growing AI revolution tides influence on human cognitive abilities. Acknowledging and questioning on over- reliance AI could erode our cognitive abilities, skills like such as memory problems, confirmation bias, problem solving, critical thinking ultimate the assassination of human creativity. We know how AI is everywhere these days in every corner and every pair of hands. That's the concern, is all this technology (AI) going to impact on cognitive abilities constant assistance might lead to the mental passivity instant result on problem just on simple prompt is may leads to the mental erosion of cognitive abilities. AI'sability to handle repetitive or routine work could potentially enhance our intellect by freeing cognitive space for more complex and creative thinking. Moreover, effective use of AI demands new forms of mental engagement: formulating precise queries, evaluating AI generated responses, and integrating those outputs into real world reasoning. This paper argues that the impact of AI on cognition depends not solely on the technology itself but on how humans choose to interact with it whether as a substitute for thought or as a tool to extend and refine it.
