Abstract

Agriculture has served as the foundation of human survival and development, but today it is entering a new era shaped by automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI). A key driver of this change is the rise of AgriBots autonomous robotic systems equipped with AI, smart sensors, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. These machines are designed to handle vital farming activities such as seed planting, irrigation management, crop surveillance, pest control, and harvesting with a level of precision and consistency that surpasses human labor. Unlike traditional machinery, AgriBots rely on machine vision, adaptive navigation, and predictive data analytics to adjust to field conditions in real time, ensuring higher efficiency, reduced resource consumption, and improved agricultural yield. This study explores the growing significance of AgriBots in modern farming, reviews recent advancements in research, and proposes a novel AI-based AgriBot framework for sustainable agriculture. The framework integrates robotics, intelligent decision-making, and continuous data analysis to create a self-regulating farming ecosystem. By addressing pressing issues such as workforce shortages, climate variability, and global food security, AgriBots represent not just tools of automation but a transformative step toward the future of resilient, smart, and sustainable agriculture.
