Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a permanent feature of contemporary decision-making in all walks of life such as healthcare, finance, education, and governance. This article discusses    how    artificial intelligence systems affect human decision-making, the trade-off between automated and human judgment, and the ensuing ethical and societal implications. Through an examination of existing literature, real-life applications, and projected future advancements, the study identifies both the advantages and disadvantages of using AI to assist or substitute human reasoning.  The  research  argues that although AI promotes greater efficiency and predictive abilities, sustaining human intervention, transparency, and moral principles is critical to avoid abuse    or unfortunate happenstance.
