Abstract

Book publishing has moved from traditional print distribution to digital platforms. With the fast growth of e-commerce and online content sharing, there is a need for a dedicated platform that connects authors, readers, and administrators in a safe and smooth environment. This paper presents Inkiprintoid, a book publishing and selling website built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (frontend), Node.js (backend), and SQL (database). The system uses a three-tier architecture and the MVC design pattern to ensure it is scalable and easy to maintain. Key features include browsing books, author profiles, a shopping cart, and secure checkout via a payment gateway. The platform improves usability, gives authors global reach, and makes digital book publishing easier. This paper covers the system’s design, implementation, performance review, and future improvements.
