Abstract

Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a field of Artificial Intelligence that focuses on enabling computers to understand and communicate in human language. With the progress of deep learning and transformer-based models, NLP has become an integral part of our daily lives, from virtual assistants and chatbots to translation tools and healthcare applications. Unlike traditional interfaces that require users to learn specific commands, NLP makes human–computer interaction more natural and intuitive. Beyond everyday use, researchers are now exploring how natural language itself can be used to express programming ideas, making technology more accessible to non-experts. This paper presents key applications of NLP across industries, the challenges faced, and its growing potential to reshape the way people interact with machines.
