Abstract

This study looks at how social media use might affect the heart health of young adults in India, aged 18 to 35. As social media becomes a bigger part of daily life, especially for young people, it is important to see whether spending a lot of time online affects factors like body weight, blood pressure, sleep quality, and stress levels, all of which can influence heart disease risk. To explore this, we will conduct an online survey of university students and young professionals, asking about their social media habits, lifestyle choices, and health. The collected data will then be analysed to see if frequent social media use is linked to higher heart health risks. The results of this study will help us understand how digital habits may impact heart health in Indian young adults and can guide future health programs and recommendations.
