Abstract

Time management plays a crucial role in a college student’s academic success and overall well-being. Balancing studies, extracurricular activities, social life, and personal care can be challenging, and poor time management often leads to stress, missed deadlines, and lower productivity.
This study explores how college students manage their time and which strategies they adopt to stay organized and productive. A structured questionnaire was used to collect responses from students, covering their daily routines, use of planners or scheduling apps, task management approaches, and productivity patterns. The survey also examined factors such as sleep habits, ability to avoid distractions, and workload management.
The results show that students commonly use techniques like setting goals, breaking tasks into smaller steps, and reviewing schedules regularly. Despite this, many still struggle with procrastination, underestimating the time required for tasks, and staying focused. These findings suggest that promoting effective time management practices can enhance academic performance, reduce stress, and improve overall productivity among students.
