This article presents an integrated analysis of three critical domains in knitwear production they are, knitting process efficiency, time and motion study in sewing operations, and material-resource planning. The primary objective was to break down production processes into activities, evaluate operational efficiency, measure time utilization, and assess resource consumption. Methodologies included process mapping, time-motion studies, and resource cost estimation. The outcomes highlight key inefficiencies in machine utilization, line balancing issues in sewing sections, and opportunities to optimize raw material flow. Recommendations include improved layout planning, buffer inventory control, and adoption of lean manufacturing practices. This multidisciplinary approach provides a holistic understanding of production workflow in the knitwear segment of the apparel industry.
