The SGU Campus Bus System is a smart, web-based, and Android-compatible transportation management platform designed to automate Sanjay Ghodawat University’s campus bus operations. The current manual system of seat booking, route allocation, and payment handling often leads to confusion and inefficiency. This review explores the development of an intelligent digital system integrating web technologies and a machine learning algorithm—K-Means clustering—to optimize routes and reduce operational delays. The system allows students to view buses by location, reserve seats online, and submit payment details for verification. Using Flask as the backend framework and MySQL for data management, the platform ensures secure data handling and scalability. Google Maps API provides real-time visualization of routes and clusters, enhancing administrative oversight and user experience. The review highlights the integration of data-driven clustering for transportation efficiency and discusses future improvements such as GPS tracking, online payments, and predictive analytics for route optimization.
