Abstract

This research introduces a Diagnosis and Monitoring System for Skin Diseases that utilizes web technologies and image processing to assist users in detecting skin-related conditions and accessing medical advice. The system allows users to upload or capture skin images, which are analyzed using Python-based image processing algorithms to identify possible symptoms. It then provides precautionary measures, displays a list of recommended dermatologists, and enables users to view doctor details and book appointments online. The platform is developed using React.js for the frontend, PHP for backend integration, and MySQL for secure data storage. The combination of web-based architecture and image analysis ensures real-time performance and accessibility. Experimental testing confirms that the system effectively detects affected skin regions and improves healthcare awareness through an interactive, user-friendly interface. The proposed solution contributes to the advancement of AI-assisted healthcare systems for early diagnosis and preventive monitoring.
