Art studios have long served as the foundation of creativity, collaboration, and artistic growth. In modern times, they not only function as physical spaces but also expand into digital platforms, supporting artists with tools for creation, exposure, and engagement. This review paper explores the role of art studios in fostering creativity, examines traditional and modern models, and analyzes the integration of digital technologies such as online galleries, collaborative platforms, and AI-driven art tools. The study also highlights challenges such as accessibility, resource management, and sustaining artist communities. Special emphasis is placed on the concept of Art Lab, a proposed digital–physical hybrid model for supporting emerging and professional artists alike. The future scope includes integration with immersive technologies (AR/VR), global online marketplaces, and AI-powered personalized recommendations for art creation and exhibition.
