Research Paper Publication Fees at IJSCI

You should be able to understand the publication cost before you decide where to submit. This page brings together IJSCI’s fee options, explains the DOI difference and sets out the details to confirm before payment. Publication fees are payable after acceptance.

Publication fees at a glance

Publication fees per accepted article

Indian authors, without DOI₹499Not included
Indian authors, with DOI₹699Included
International authors$20 USDIncluded

All amounts shown are per accepted article. The ₹499 and ₹699 options are for Indian authors. The international-author fee is stated in US dollars; do not treat it as a fixed rupee amount.

Before paying, check the acceptance instructions and confirm that the selected option matches your manuscript. Contact the editor if an instruction appears inconsistent with the fee information shown here.

What is the difference between the two Indian-author options?

The DOI inclusion is the difference shown in the fee table: ₹499 without DOI, or ₹699 with DOI. A DOI is an article identifier that can be used in references and links. Authors should decide whether they need this option based on their publication requirements.

Do not infer that a DOI guarantees indexing, citations or acceptance by an institution. Those are separate questions. If an institution requires a particular database, verify the journal’s status directly in that database.

What to confirm about the total cost

The publication charge supports the publication process and online availability of the accepted article. Before budgeting, read the current manuscript conditions and clarify any item that is not expressly included.

  • Does your paper meet the stated author and page limits?
  • Does your selected option include the DOI you need?
  • Are you requesting any additional service or special format?
  • What payment method is specified for your accepted manuscript?
  • Do you need a receipt in an institutional name?

Ask about these details before paying. Do not assume a fee waiver, discount, printed copy or optional service is included unless the editorial office has confirmed it.

When and how to pay

  1. Submit the paper and retain its paper ID.
  2. Complete the editorial process and any requested revisions.
  3. Read the acceptance message and confirm the publication option.
  4. Use the journal’s official payment instructions and check the paper details.
  5. Keep the transaction reference and receipt for your records.

If a transaction appears unsuccessful, check its status before trying again. For a payment enquiry, send your paper ID, transaction reference and a brief description to the editorial office. Never send a password, PIN or one-time password.

Questions about refunds or a change of option

Read the journal’s cancellation and refund policy before making payment. If you need to change an option after acceptance or have paid the wrong amount, contact the editor with your paper ID rather than making an additional payment without guidance.

For budgeting across several manuscripts, check each paper’s acceptance and publication option separately. Payment for one paper should not be assumed to cover another.
